Reini Homes builds custom homes in The Cliffs — and we're finishing one at The Cliffs at Mountain Park right now. We're a family-owned builder, licensed in South Carolina for 30 years, and every build is a joint effort between Benjamin Reini's experience and his sons' next-generation approach — so the people you meet at the start are the people building your house.
If you own a lot in The Cliffs, or you're about to, this page is what we'd tell you on the phone.
A 2,500-square-foot custom home on the golf course, with mountain views. Smaller than most of what gets built in The Cliffs, and not one inch less luxurious. The owners came from Florida and knew exactly what they wanted: a house that would look like it belonged on the road and feel like theirs inside.
So the roof is Ludowici clay tile — a 100-year roof that most builders will talk you out of because it's heavy, expensive, and unforgiving to install. The exterior is stone. Inside, nothing came off a builder's standard sheet: every fixture, surface, cabinet and piece of trim was a selection the owners made and we sourced. It's wrapping up now, ready for photographs and for the owners to move in.
The lesson of that house: in The Cliffs, square footage isn't the measure. The level of the selections is.
Mountain Park sits along the Highway 25 corridor in the northern Greenville County mountains — about fifteen minutes from downtown Travelers Rest and half an hour from downtown Greenville or Hendersonville. The community is built around a Gary Player golf course, with a wellness center, miles of maintained hiking trails through the mountains, and the Mountain Park Cabin for dinner without leaving the gate.
And a Cliffs membership isn't one club — it's seven. Members at Mountain Park have the run of all the Cliffs communities, from the lake at Keowee to the mountains at Glassy and Walnut Cove. That's the real amenity: a house in one community and a life across all of them.
We design and build with that in mind — the house is the place you come home to from the course, the trail and the lake, so it needs to work hard without feeling like it's trying.
Every Cliffs community reviews new homes before they're built — plans, exterior materials, colors, site plan, how the house sits on the lot. The standard is high, which is exactly why the communities look the way they do. The work for a builder is in the preparation: a complete, well-drawn package the first time, materials chosen with the community's standards in mind, and a site plan that respects the slope, the trees and the views you're paying for. We've been through it at Mountain Park, and we'll walk you through it before you commit to anything.

Let's walk it. We'll talk through the review, the site and what you want the inside to feel like — and if you'd like to see the Mountain Park house first, we'll arrange it.
